Great drinks and great customer service
Great drink prices and friendly staff.
The bar tender/waitress was very rude. Seemed like she didn’t want to take our order. We waited at least 15 mins for her to come and take our order. She made us pay for everything upfront! She kept walking off while we were talking. I will take my drink to go. Since she didn’t want to refund me my money for a untouched drink.
love this place oh, everyone knows your name, and you will be back
Nice spot I stumbled upon to. Was busy yet the bartender was attentive to when I wanted another round. He came over frequently.
Love bars like this! Dropped my scarf, oh well. Great beer, great conversation. 🙂
Poor service, over-priced well drinks and bad atmosphere.
Great food. Cold beer. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. What more could you ask for?
So in the midst of pandemic, the waitress and cook were both not wearing masks. Furthermore, the cook was eating behind the bar and then proceeded directly to handling food without washing his hands or wearing gloves.
Definitely more of a bar than a restaurant. I ordered the gyro with fries and it was flavorless unfortunately. I'll come back later to try a drink. The service was pretty cool. The bartender was the sole waitress which put a lot on her.
Amazing gyro sandwiches and very friendly staff. Decent beer selection. Just wish they'd turn down the volume... It's very loud in there.
This is a great little hole in the wall place, serving good greasy food and nice simple drinks. It is a place for the locals and carries all flavors of customers to mingle with - from businessmen, lawyers, and doctors to all of your "friends in low places." If you want a place to have fun or a place to relax with a drink, this is the place to go. Nice diner-style atmosphere, cozy bar on a cold night.
Great place to hang out on Wednesday with out standing service!!
Went here for the #NationalDiveBarDay @seagrams7 Whiskey event. With an extensive Beer and Cocktail list, I am hesitant to call this place a typical dive bar. It is very loud in here, and the focus is the immense bar in the middle, and you can walk all the way around it. On the right side, there are more tables to order food, on the left side there are a few booths and tables for people that are focused more on drinks. Lots of large screen TV's to watch sporting events.Downtown location without the downtown feel, and decor. It is casual, but not like your neighborhood bar. Anyone dressed up or dressed down is welcome here. They do serve typical bar food such as: chicken tenders, buffalo wings, nachos, pizza, mushrooms, fries. They also serve a few choices of burgers, franks, and sandwiches. The food is okay, nothing special. For a no frills bar, a drink with friends, and bar food, stop on into Snickers Bar & Grill.
Fun little dive in the middle of Chicago. Bartenders were engaging and fun!
Great dive bar in downtown Chicago with surprisingly good food and helpful staff.
Great cheap bar in downtown Chicago! I love the atmosphere and the drinks are cheap. The vibe is like a college sports bar with a younger crowd
The patrons were super friendly and I'm sure the food and beer is good, but I came here last week with my bf and ordered a gin martini with a twist. The tall blond Russian bartender added a lemon wedge instead, which, ok it's a simple and common mistake. I used my pocket knife to cut my own twist from the lemon. Then, when she thought I wasn't looking, started to try to covertly flirt with my bf by winking at him and trying to mouth something to him. I just felt pretty disrespected and disappointed in her. Unfortunately I won't be back for that reason
Good american bkf. A little slow as service. Very good food.
Pricy for a neighborhood bar. I went in to get a quick burger and they got my order wrong. Literally the only person eating and they messed it up. Just go to Rock Bottom a street over - better ambiance, beer selection, bartenders, and food.
$10 for a well vodka and cranberry? In this place? I watched others pay for their drinks and I definitely got swindled. I'm not okay with that. This place could've received my biz for the next few days and every other time I'm in the city. Not anymore. You may be pretty, bartender, but you're not pulling a fast one on me. Shameful.
Great time. Agnes is the best. Great atmosphere
Been coming here for years and years when in town. Jon is a great guy and has a great establishment. Will always make this a stop while in town.
Good service, decent prices for downtown, food hot, fresh, and yummy (got the patty melt using chicken breast), and the drinks r worth the $$. I'd recommend!
Perfect place for a beer or two after work. No frills, just a fun, relaxing spot.
A cool place for a drink or two. Great views. A bit pricey. $8 for a primium pint.
Number one bar in Chicago, most beautiful bartenders 🥃🍻🍷🍸🍾
We just left after sitting at a table for 10 minutes, completely ignored by the waitress. She came to the table next to us 3 times and didn’t even acknowledge we were there. The place is fine for beer and basics, but certainly not worth sticking around for with that level of service.
Great bartenders, music and atmosphere!
A great dive bar in river north. You've walked by it a thousand times. Stop in, but don't eat anythiing
Love this little cozy Bar. Had a blast on New Year Eve. Very convenient when I worked at Jewel Osco a few blocks away. The Lemon Drop drink was good
Solid dinner for great greasy food
This place is a bit sleazy at times, but it is always a fun time.
Not following COVID-19 rules; tables and menus not wiped/bartender not wearing mask half the time. $12 cocktails and $8 blue moon draft pint. Only 5 or 6 beers on draft. Sandwich was served in a hot dog bun. Service is questionable. Totally overpriced for the 'old neighborhood dive sports bar' vibe it gives off, when you can go to places 5x nicer for the same amount. Feels like I got tricked to be honest.
This place never disappoints. Want to re-live your old college days and go to a late night, crowded dive bar with a friendly atmosphere? Then Snickers is the place for you. Love going here couple times year. Anymore than that would be too much though.
Got a good gyro super late on Christmas Eve which was a God send but $6 rolling rocks is a joke. And btw they are not an "import" like the receipt says. They are a trash domestic.
We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The drinks were exactly as we wanted them, because we made a few changes. So, really appreciated the bartenders patience with us. She was really nice and down to earth. If I’m not mistaken her name was Ariadna. There should be more bartenders like her. The food was delicious and such big portions, which you don’t usually see in bars. We will come back for sure!
There was nothing that was particularly noteworthy about this bar/restaurant. I speak from limited experience, and perhaps I needed to spend a few hours to encounter a noteworthy event.I had no food, so also cannot rate the food. The service was okay.
Really enjoyed this place! Dive bar vibe, large beer selection and lots of liquor. I got the Italian beef and it was delicious, and came with a big basket of fries. Hub got steak sandwich and also enjoyed it.
This sports bar has great music, sports playing on the flat screens. Attentive hostesses, who are very pretty and fun! It's a smaller place so it packs up quick but it's a great time!
Let's be clear this is not a dive bar. $10 for a mixed drink? Get outta here. Neighborhood bar is a better way to classify this place. The kind of bar you go to alone to get drunk before going to Christmas dinner with your family.
I really like the service bartenders are very nice and the food is very good.
Very cool River east bar. The servers are awesome!
Being honesty, this place is simple but always good to sit and sip. Love the environment and how the waiters treats us... Simple amazing.
Had a great time there with some friends! The food here is also great. Just one 1 thing: music is wayyyy too loud, my friends and I couldn't even talk to each other. If they fix that we'll be coming more often!!
Awesome bar on State Street. Highly recommend bouncing in for a drink or two.
Nice little bar and grill to grab a quick drink while walking around downtown. The bloody mary is small but full of flavor. Friendly service too!
Like a second home. Better than cheers because everyone doesn't know your name ;-) but your glad you came!!! Super happy they opened back up!
The open windows add to the atmosphere. Friendly bartender.
Timeless gem In the middle of River North.
